update China 5.2.8 to 5.4

Hello

I have 7 Hikvision Cam's with 5.2.5 and 5.2.8.
3x DS-2CD2432F-IW
2x DS-2CD2032-I
1x DS-2CD2532F-IWS
1x DS-2CD2132F-IS
I think they have all hacked firmware from seller to use german language & date
because the remark "do not update yourself"...

Is it possible to update it to 5.4 in german or english, so i can use my gmail account again.

I have DS-2CD2232-I5 (software 5.2.0) purchased from China. Does someone know can I use some hack or something to update latest version?

Don't update to 5.4.0. The version you want is 5.4.5. We need someone to build a tool to update CH region cameras to 5.4.5 and then change language to English or German or whatever.

I'm very interested in this too. I have tried many different fw, 5.3 english & chinese, 5.4, 5.4.5 they simply don't work.
Even after the mtd hack, these cameras only work with the 5.2.5 (or 5.2.8).

If anyone figures out a way to get 5.4+ fw on these camera, please share !!
we need to get gmail working again

Now with hacked cameras are not sold anymore, should be time to put the last hack to public so we can upgrade existing cameras.
