Unable to setup IVS Tripwire or Intrusion on 5231 / 5281

When I try to setup the Tripwire/Intrusion on the Dahua NVR nothing happens when I trigger it by stepping over the line. When I try to go hit my Dahua Camera 5231/5281 directly, the IVS page doesn't load. What am I doing wrong? However, if I click Face Detection or Abnormality, the page loads.

That happens to me from time to time. I log out and re-log back in and wait about 5 to 10 seconds before hitting the page and it seems to work

I see exactly the same thing so I don't think you're doing anything wrong. It's inconsistent, though. Sometimes the IVS screen works, and sometimes it doesn't. Just now, the IVS screen didn't come up. I went to abnormality, then IVS started working. One thing I noticed is that the camera is often in "slow mode", where the response anywhere in settings takes a while. When the IVS screen works, the response is snappy. My NVR started doing the same thing, even though I changed nothing since it worked ok. The camera firmware is 2.640.0000002.0.R.

Okay I switched to a different browser and I see IVS now. I been youtubing how to setup and notice after people set it up, if you go to the live view you should see your tripwire and it will change color if triggered. When I go to my live view I don't see anything. Is their something else I need to do?

I think I figured it out, I had to go to Smart Plan and click IVS for each channel
