Hi

I installed Hikvision camera at home about 1 week ago. For 3-4 days it worked well. I could access my camera through IP (192.168.0.103) both from smartphone and from notebook. But since yesterday I can't access it through notebook (smartphone works well). Internet Explorer says that the page cannot be reached.

How can I fix it? What should I do?

Did you configure the networking with a fixed IP address, or via DHCP?
Check if the IP address has changed.

A very good search / network config tool for Hikvision is SADP - SADP Tool
Check if SADP can find the camera, and see what IP address it shows.

Also, Fing is a great tool to have on your smartphone.

Thank you, it worked!

The problem is that now I get "Invalid encrypton key" when I want to watch cameras. How can I fix it?

Another question will my IP change periodically? How can I avoid it?

Sorry if my questions are dumb, I'm very new to cameras

I solved encryption key issue. Could you answer my 2nd question please?
Log into camera with either browser or SADP , go to setup /configure, networking, TCP/IP and where it shows camera's LAN IP it is likely set to DHCP or auto; change that to static and save that configuration.
If you have a router, log into it also and make a reservation for that IP that you used in the camera OR assign a static IP to the camera that is outside of the router's DHCP pool. For example, if the router's DHCP pool is 192.168.0.49 to .99, you can use IP's from .100 to .254 for static IP's in cams, printers, etc.
