Hi, anyone offer an opinion as to what may be best solution to the following senario;

ROOM 1
3 x CCTV Cameras with large screen TV and teacher will be giving instruction & demonstration.
Needs two way clear audio to room2

ROOM 2
1 CCTV camera so teacher can view group & Large screen TV to view demonstartion in room 1

I am thinking of CCTV cameras with built in two way audio or a separate audio system.
Wearable Clip Radio mike would be preferable for the tutor.

If anyone has done something similar or would like to suggest, this would be most appreciated.
Thanks

Maybe give us the way it will be used and a little background? We might be able to help better.

Could you use normal intercoms to communicate?
Would it be close enough to allow a couple handheld radios to communicate?
You can use cameras and tv screens for viewing.

My first thought is to keep the video and audio as separate systems. You may find feedback can be a problem as well with "full duplex" audio, but that can be controlled with speaker placement and mike gains.

There are a lot of details missing for this request, but 1st look shows this could easily be a +$100k system - depends on what level of rooms you want.

Questions:
Is this only for live classrooms, online schooling, recording capabilities?
Does the group in each room need to participate for Q&A? Or only the instructors?
Size of each room, dimensions of each room - will dictate monitor size & speaker coverage.
Purpose for the cams, what will each room show in the monitors? Ability to switch between cams.

A few high level notes:

AUDIO
  • distributed ceiling speakers
  • wireless LAV mics for each instructor
  • ceiling mics if audience Q&A
  • audio conferencing?
  • DSP & control system, vol control, mute & switching

VIDEO
  • monitors for each room, size TBD based on room size & viewing angles
  • monitors - control for on/off, source selection
  • cameras: PTZ or fixed? subject(s)? must be able to control cams, switch video feeds (or window feeds?)
  • video conferencing / soft codec?

CONTROL
- processor & touch panels to control all room AV devices

Again - this is based of info from the OP. Things to consider & ideas to further detail your needs.

Hi Thanks for the response

This is only for live classrooms with only 8 max students viewing on 65"TV from ajacent room. The students need to have two way speech with tutor.
2 x Vari Focal & 1 x PTZ CCTV to set up a fixed angle suitable to the procedure being performed (makeup) no one needs control of cameras once session started.
Thanks
