trimming clips???

Hello! I have an 8 hour clip and I need to trim just about 30 minutes of it.... how do I do that??? the blue iris website says you can mark start and end to trim and export that but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to....

In the playback window there is a green and red triangle which you can drag to mark the start and end time.
