This is from last night...

So--- this is output directly from BI. I set the timelapse speed to 60X. My thought was that it would show a minute go by for every 1 second of output video. It is slower than that--- any idea why??

Either way they look really good. What camera are you using?

I have been planning on doing a lapse tomorrow night when my new sd card comes in. Hoping to get the stars and fireworks in one shot if possible.

What settings were you running?

I actually put it on auto-exposure settings. not worried about motion blur or ghosting from motion, and Dahua makes sure the cam gives a great still video pic (deceptively good in fact). The moon helps a lot with lighting right now. I will do another one tonight if it's a clear night.
