I currently have a 24" TV in my living room that I use to display my Home Assistant dashboard. It works okay, but it does stick out pretty far from the wall, and the TV itself is kind of thick. Plus, there's no touchscreen.

Can anybody recommend a good 24"ish touchscreen panel that's relatively thin?

Lots of manufacturers make small touch screens.
Most use a USB connection to the PC, so you will have to extend this along with HDMI to the monitor.
Search for low profile wall mounts to keep the monitor close to the wall.

Another thought is to purchase a touch screen "overlay" that is designed to be mounted on your current TV. They work pretty well and are not expensive. It' doesn't get the screen any closer to the wall, but perhaps you can find a non-touch screen solution that you like that you can then convert into a touch screen using an overlay.

not directly what you ask since they include a complete Android OS, but they are great to run smarthome dashboards or nvr apps:

Thanks for the input! Do you happen to have a source to buy those from?
