Who has the Dahua NVR 16ch 4k in stock, cheap!?

Good morning,

I'm trying to order the Dahua NVR4216-4K, but two different places in China from the Aliexpress site are sold out and it's going to be another week before they can ship, not to mention the fact that it takes forever to get here. I've been trying to get one shipped for about two weeks now. I really need a system in place. Do any of you know who has one in stock at the low China price $225-235? Should I go for an older version? I don't even have a 4K camera but may get one some year.

Thanks!
:miserable:

$193 for 16 channel NON POE 4k and about $67 for shipping. They are in stock. I have been looking at this for a couple of weeks and will probably end up getting one. Even cheaper than Aliexpress. Plus they answer your emails. This is a quad core cpu.

Have you had good experience with CCTV-Mall..? I'm going to order a DH-NVR5416-16P-4KS2 and Nelly's doesn't have it. AliExpress is out of stock but it's not an emergency so I can wait. CCTV-Mall or AliExpress..?

I have never ordered from them, so I can't say. I have had a couple of bad experiences with Aliexpress though. I don't feel bad ordering from CCTV-Mall, because I have done my research and don't really find any really bad things said about it. They are very responsive to questions (although they might not actually give you correct answers....I asked for a user's guide for the 4K nvr, and they sent me an older user's guide for a non 4K nvr. So I just emailed Dahua if they had one.) The thing that puts me at ease is that they accept Paypal, and the rules for Paypal are usually in the buyer's favor. So, I am going to pull the trigger in about a week or two. Who knows? The price might even go down by then. Their website is registered in Buffalo NY, I think, but they are shipping from China, so that kind of confuses me. I took the header of one of their emails and cut and paste it through one of those websites that tells you where it originated, and it came back "Buffalo, NY". Those email analyze websites are good for telling where potential scam emails originated from. Just recently I inquired about renting/leasing a house on Craig's list and the response seemed just off...so I analyzed it through the header and it came back source of origin.......Nigeria!!! LOL

Good to know. Thanks.

Yeah you really have to be careful on Craig's List.

Ali shows about a $111 shipping charge for this NVR.

I'll take another look at CCTV-Mall..... thanks.

Is the difference between the 5416 and the 5216 the amount of HD it can support....?

Yes. I have done so much research I logically got acquainted with Dahua's naming conventions. The second digit (2,4,8) indicates how many hard drives you may have in the unit. It's pretty simple once you realize it. But the 5216 has a spec of 2-6tb hard drives. Better than the usual 4tb hd's with most nvr's...but since it is 4k I think that it might the extra storage for the higher capacity resolutions.

I'll know who to ask if I need something decoded. :)

I am looking at the 5416 because of the 4 HD capacity.

Other than HD capacity they are the same..??

DH-NVR5416-16P-4KS2 What does the S2 mean after the 4K. Is it maybe a series #.

I have found the DH-NVR5416-16P-4KS2 but not the DH-NVR5416-4KS2 in stock. :(

Yes it seems the same specs. even with the additional hard drives. I think that the quad core processor helps this nvr run smoothly. As far as the "S2"...I don't really know. Why don't you send an email to cctv-mall. You will get an answer.

I sent an email to them about the "S2". I'll let you know if I get an answer. :)

After looking through the Dahua catalog I noticed they all have the 4KS2.
