The Chinese camera does not start up

Hello.
I got a camera like in the picture. Firmware from files has been uploaded to it
1.kernel.bin
2.rootfs.bin
3.user.bin
Now only the red LED is on and after connecting to the router it is orange and the green LED is blinking at the LAN connector.
As you can see in the photo, the LEDs are lit from the night illumination.
Is there any chance to start this camera because, from what I associate, it should test by turning left / right and up / down.

Did it work when you received it and you then tried to update the firmware? If so, you likely bricked it as it would be a Chinese hacked computer.
 
If it hasn’t been bricked, find out what the default IP address is, then change your laptop to be on the same subnetwork and see if you can connect to it using a browser.

The camera is already a few years old and it was working normally. Now the problems started and I wanted to upload newer software. I had the software from a Chinese. I used to upload this software to a similar camera and there was no problem.

How to check the default address? The router does not show that there is any device connected. I wanted to take advantage
ONVIF Device Manager but finds nothing.
 
you have learn a lesson. DO NOT UPGRADE A CAMERA ULESS IT IS ABSOLUTLY NECESSARY. A camera is NOT a PC, there is very little reason to upgrade. You should have specific bug or problem that needs fixing before you upgrade. If is not broken do not fix it.

The most likely result of upgrading a camera is to turn it into a brick.
 
The problem was, the camera was unstable. It seems to me that there is some way to save the camera, for example through the J13 connector, but I might be wrong.

No contact with this person. I received the soft a few years ago from a Chinese.
 
i don't recognize that logo. Are ther any other identifying marks or stickers on the cam to identify the make & model?
That would be your best bet to tracking down working firmware, But of course, you'd need access to it somehow to re-install working formware once you had it.
Most likely would need to open it up and find the serial port connection pads, if any, and connect with a UART adapter to a PC.
Probably not worth the effort. Get an new one (it'll be better anyways) , and don't do that again...
 
Unfortunately, there are no other logos. This is what the PCB looks like from the inside. I have another, the same, maybe it would be possible to download the firmware. Buying a new one will definitely be there. I just want to play with this one.

typically, tx connects to the first (square pad), rx the next one and grnd to the third (no need for 5v or anything else).

Fire up Putty on Windows (or equivalent serial program on IOS), most often 8N1 @115200 is proper setting, but can vary.

Any signs of life there and you MAY be able to break into the bootloader envrionment, and depending on what you find there may have commands available to reload correct firmware.

i have no idea what correct firmware woudl be or where you might get it, but that's the general approach, if you must... :-)
 
looks about right. should be safe to swap those around if needed to get/send data, but that's the most common arrangement i've seen...
 
If I have a second such camera, can I download the software from it and upload to the one that does not work.
I will work at night.
 
extracting firmware from the working cam in a format that can be applied to the non-working may be a challenge. it's not something I've done, but good luck!
