Just setup my new cctv system using research and info from this forum and the guides. I installed 2x T5442T-ZE and 1x 8MP colorvu cameras based on initial recommendations here and further confirming with my own research.
the combination of blue iris, ai object detection, large sensor cameras and the phone app with push notifications results in an absolutely brilliant setup… way above my expectations.
i was initially looking at ubiquity as i have a unifi setup at home, however was convinced to go the blue iris path from reading here. Very glad i did as the results are so good and way more flexible / customisable than ubiquiti.
Already planning to add 2 more T5442T-ZE cameras and going to try my luck with new reolink poe door bell (even though its reolink it seems to tick enough boxes).
