Has anyone been tracking their TBW on an SSD OS drive?
My 9 camera rig is up and running nicely, specs below.
My OS SSD is this WD Black M.2 PCIe NVME. I put 100GB clip limit and 1 day limit, then move to storage 4TB WD Purple.
Continuous recording, get about 8 days.
I followed this articles process to track bytes written and came up with some projections, showing I will be at 200.4 TBW per year:
I plan to add another 10 cameras, so it seems like that would put me around 300 TBW annually. This would seem to indicate I am going to burn through this PCIe SSD annually.
I am interested to hear if anyone running something similar or have experience with SSD usage for a similar use case?
Thanks!
