T5442T-ZE varifocal mainstream substream question

I recently replaced one of my 5442 cams and thought it was configured the same as the old one but I notice that for some reason it takes a long time in Blue Iris to switch to the mainstream when I select it...it only takes a couple of seconds on all the other cams but for some reason this one takes almost a whole minute to switch from substream to mainstream video... any ideas why or what I can do to fix it?

Are you using a smart codec? post the camera settings

Interesting, I hadn't noticed how the various Cams list a different Codec or Encoding strategy. Here is a 5442-Z4 and a 3241-ZAS.

Yeah, you want to have codec off if the camera offers that or General. Do not use Smart.
