I grabbed myself another T5442T-ZE to put facing up my driveway. But to get the best coverage I need to rotate it to have vertical video. In that case the mic is no longer at the bottom. Is this okay?

Thanks! I'll keep putting it up

Could probably flip it and flip the image if you’re worried about it. Think it’s probably ok that way though.

Well it's up there! Ignore the horrible siding, need to patch that properly still. That's where my power used to come in

What's weird is that I got the PFB204W Mount. I have the same mount for a HDW2231R-ZS and it worked fine. So I assumed it would work with the T5442T-ZE, but none of the mounting holes lined up

I just made my own holes and used some self tapping metal screws

Yeah .. its the same mount but different holes. Same as PFA122 and PFA121
If you install it as a job, i mean like price is the same, who want to waste time making new holes or using self tapping screws?

The microphone is waterproof, i have a few mounting like yours and fliped the image in software.
thats a big+ with dahua.. all models can flip 90° , hikvision only a few...

i mounted it that the ir leds are not on the wall side... so no/much less reflections from the wall
