Out of necessity, I run a mixed system of 2 NVRs a Swann 16-8580 and one of Andy's NVR 5216-16P. 1 in living room
and 1 elsewhere. One may use Andy's cams on the Swann and vice versa.
The ZOOM function may be controlled by BOTH NVRs. Be careful with bandwidth as the Swann NVR will
fall apart and skip fromes of some of the cameras. In order to avoid the problem, set all displays
on the NVR monitor to SD and all will be fine..
So if one needs to replace a Swann camera, one of Andy's cameras will work with some functionality lost.
