Hello I was wondering if anyone can help, I have the above system with a NHD-885MSB A and have had water get into the RJ45 socket from the camera and the wire inside the connector has perished. I have taken down the camera and removed the female connector.
so I can try to replace the connector with a new one however the connector is a moulded piece and so the wires were hidden .
Inside the cable I have six wires, red with white stripe, black with white stripe, yellow with white stripe green with white stripe, and solid yellow and solid green, does anyone know how to wire this back into a female RJ45 socket?
the wires in the old socket came apart as it was a moulded plug so i could not the them
Thank you in advance

Welcome @roxey64

Feel free to share pictures ..

Ideally you want to shave off part of the RJ45 socket so you can see which wire goes to which position in the RJ45 socket. Also you can try using a volt meter if any of the wires still are ok in the socket and get some mapping that way.

+1^^.
Just insure you note the existing color code of the conductors and which pin they are connected to BEFORE you cut anything.
Below is a blank pinout of a FEMALE RJ-45 so you can write in what you determine:

As the casing of the plug was tough and never done this before the wires cam out without me knowing which was where that is why I was asking if anyone had a diagram of the wires

Are there working cams of the same make and model still hooked up?
If so, I would recommend you take one down, open it up and write down the colors of those wires and where they go to, take a few photos.

Have you tried looking at the male connector? That may give you a clue unless the manufacturer has used non standard wiring colours. Easily checked against an exposed portion of the cable.
