Pulling my weight
I gifted my dad a brand new BI server and 5 cameras for his birthday. When I set everything up it was running speedy and for the first month I could remote into his PC with full speed and tweak things as necessary.
Overnight, when I remote into his computer (and when he’s checking cameras locally) everything is choppy and slow.
It seems like something is bottlenecked and I can’t figure out what. When I shut BI down completely everything frees up and the internet speed is restored and so is the PC in general.
When I run task manager it says it’s only using 8% CPU and max 45% RAM.
The computer itself seems stable but something in BI is causing the computer or network to choke.
Where can I start troubleshooting ?
Any ideas appreciated.
Yes I restarted everything and checked latest version etc.
