If I change the storage location folder size and clip age (make them a little less), will Blue Iris apply those settings to the current clips stored or will I need to manually delete some clips until I get below the new storage limits?

If you run maintenance or repair/compact it will then take care of it.

FWIW, I advise against using clip age to determine if they are deleted or moved, use size.

Helpful! I just implemented the advice there. No more Stored data. Everything in New. Fortunately items marked protected are retained, as the deletion process occurred immediately after clicking OK.
