Seems almost everyone who is starting out with home automation, go and purchases a few smart lights.
Most people, self included, go and buy some Philips Hue / Lifx smart lights or whatever.
These light all work great, but there one really annoying thing with theses types of lights.
If they are turned off at the light switch or power point, they are offline/unavailable.
So now your smart light is not so smart. You may have to actually walk a few meters to turn it back on.

There's a few popular solutions out there for this annoying issue.
The Sonoff's are really popular, but for me, the Shelly's were a better option.
I really like the Shelly 1 switches and have not had any issues since installing them.
There are newer Shelly Power Metering models out now, but the Shelly 1's work very well.

Anyone else using the Shelly's over the Sonoffs?
