Hi,
I got a Dahua IPC-HFW4431R-Z recently.
There somes things that i can't do with this camera.

First, i would like to know how to get the stream (MJPEG) in FireFox, if it is possible.
I have noticed the there is a substream that i have configureg in MJPEG but i don't 'know how to access this stream with a http url.

Then, i would like to know how to zoom in or zoom out with a http url.

I can do all these actions with internet explorer (with the specific plugin) but not under FireFox.

Do you know how to do this with http command ?
Thank's

Why Don't you just download dahua's SmartPSS and use that, that will get you where you need to go, Its free and works well. Firefox as of late is having issues with the plugins not working well or not working at all anymore. Here is one link that discusses that.

Dahua WebPlugin Doesn't work

you can only access the HTTP MJPEG URL for the primary feed; and accessing it will switch the main feed from h264 to MJPEG which is horrible for recording.. substream via HTTP is not possible.

Changing zoom levels is easy enough,

Code:
/cgi-bin/devVideoInput.cgi?action=getFocusStatus
/cgi-bin/devVideoInput.cgi?action=adjustFocus&focus=VALUE&zoom=VALUE

SmartPSS is way better than the browser, or you can open the RTSP stream and substreams with VLC, or try the Chrome App for Dahua

A dirty way around it is streaming to a box, then converting the stream with ffmpeg, then pushing it live to youtube with an unlisted link or private profile.

It's what I'm doing currently for some feeds within my work for the cyclone hitting Northern Queensland.
