Some PoE switch basics, please...

I have two, a Dahua and a BV-tech. Both appear to have the same specs and look similar except for the external case. They woth fine/the same. Reading the tech sheet... The two transmission modes are what may be confusing me: Standard @100 Mbps x 100M and Extended @ 10 Mbps x 260M.

If everything works fine in Standard, why does switching to extended kill the signal/image ...and if the jack is placed in the 60w slot to the left - you also get nothing? Thanks.

That sounds like ePoE which IIRC only works with cameras that specify state that they support ePoE.
