Some of the birds haven't gotten the memo. ;)

Yep, Wren then Finch then Wren.
After the usual spring battle, it looks like the Wrens have acquired the nearby birdhouse. Still plenty of time though. Wrens/Sparrows/Bluebirds always have at it with all of my birdhouses.

Our 4 bluebird babies fledged this past Wednesday about 545 PM, got it all on camera from nest building to egg laying, hatching, feeding, etc....the whole deal. Been too busy lately to put anything together to share. This is our 3rd season with the bluebird house and about the 7th brood.

I cleaned it all out yesterday for the next family...there was 1 egg that wasn't viable.

Chickadees always come in and check it out when it's empty at nest-building time but haven't tried to build...yet.

The Wrens took over the nearby birdhouse and were just trying too hard to own the feeder, so I moved it to another spot. :p

As seen from inside the house through the front bay window.

A house sparrow killed our 5 BlueBird chicks, and possibly mom and dad Bluebird.
Wife is now trapping House Sparrows.
Must be that variant of Russian Wrens.
