Some of our cameras got set to Manual Recording, how to reverse in NVMS?

NVMS looks to be the same as the HIK software, from what I've seen in other posts.

We have a new installation, not completely finished yet but I've been checking it out. Someone managed to change some of the camera settings to "manual recording", similar to continuous recording except the timeline bar shows it as a yellow band.

I prefer to have recordings on motion to save drive space and of course ease of viewing events. How do I set this back to Motion only?

Edit: The below image is how it is set up now, the manual record must have been set somewhere else and I cannot find it.

Delete all so there is no recording. Ensure you have continuous selected in the drop down - drag for the full 24 hours, copy to all days, cameras and apply. More than likely you are using a single admin user with access to all functions - simply clicking the manual record icon on the lower control bar of the main screen will stop and start recording overriding your schedule. To prevent this - change the admin password, create another user and edit/limit the permissions so that Local Manual Operation is disabled. This will ensure that if someone clicks the icon again they'll get a "no permission" error

Thanks. I will have to get into the local display and see if someone did click on 'manual record' in the local control screen.
