i have a camera to be mounted outdoor. my NVR is off course indoor.
The kits from Amcrest or Reolink always include stranded CAT5E cables but are not long enough for my case. i have a bunch of cat5E but they are solid core.
is it ok for me to use these riser rated solid core? or it doesnt really matter?

Generally with PoE cameras it's best to use solid core, pure copper, cable. Don't use CCA, copper clad aluminum cable. The voltage drop is higher which can effect the operation of the camera.

+1^^.
Be aware.....I've had 2 clients in 5 years with Amcrest POE NVR kits with cameras and the furnished cables were CCA.
Decent NVR and cams just crappy cables!

so what happened? the cams keep disconnecting or eventually wires damaged?

Over time plus the presence of the DC voltage a reaction can take place between the Cu and the Al that breaks down the CCA, causing resistance and possibly heat due to voltage drop. Even if not using POE devices or cameras there's no point in risking it. Just say "NO" to CCA.

BTW, no CCA cable is UL-listed; that should speak volumes about it. From Belden ==>> CCA Cable: 5 Reasons To Stay Away
