The fact is BI has a good help file and you either you didn't read it or just missed it. You aren't the first and won't be the last. I've been a BI user for 5 years and still learn about things because my needs change and I discover more as I go along. This forum makes much of that possible.
I'll be the first to admit I'm bad about reading instruction manuals or help files and I know it. But I started using computers in '78, back when very little could be read. Half the schematics and electrical diagrams contained in the traffic signal cabinets, storm sewer pump lift stations, and airport lighting control boxes were missing, illegible due to rain, rips or bug or incorrect due to undocumented modifications. To me, an incorrect schematic is worse than NO schematic. So over a 31+ year period I learned to find my way by trying stuff, without the manual or the help file....because after a time, you learn your limitations.
I also realize people are different and what works for me may not work for someone else. But feel free to explore, click on things in BI and see what they do, paying close attention to what changes and remembering how to put things back...learn by doing, even if you bite off more than you can chew....it'll be a lesson learned well.
That being said, looking back to the mid 80's I realize that I could have saved myself some time and heartburn if I had read those assembly instructions that were for my daughter's bike at Christmas.
