Hi,

I have an issue Snapshot from my DS-2CD2132F-IWS.
When I connect to http:// -ip address- /Streaming/channels/1/picture I have the following result:
Code:
<ResponseStatus version="1.0"><requestURL>/Streaming/channels/1/picture</requestURL><statusCode>2</statusCode><statusString>Device Busy</statusString></ResponseStatus>
What does it mean?
What can I do?

Did you port forward the camera's ports?

Pretty much just turn the power off to it, leave it off for a little bit and then turn it back on.

Are you having issues accessing this on the local network or are you trying to access it over the internet?

In my experience, the camera will only send snapshots to one client at a time, and anyone else who requests snapshots gets that error message instead until the first client has stopped requesting snapshots for a second or two. It is probably some primitive form of request throttling to compensate for inefficient snapshot creation.

haha power cycling saves the day again. It might stop working again. In that case you know what to do.
