Cameras: DS-2CD2132-I
FW: V5.4.5 build 170123
Grey market with MTD fix.
Had a long run without having to worry about these cameras
Which has been lovely after the plethora of rubbish FW and having them bricked by Hikivision. But alas it looks like they've come back to bite me in the rear
I recently updated to OSX Catalina and AFP is giving me lots of issues with my NAS. The solution appears to be to switch to SMB2 or SMB3. I've done that on my NAS, but my Mac's still appear to be connecting using SMB1. So I thought I'd raise the min version to SMB2 on the NAS. Unfortunately the Hikvision cameras stopped working as it looks like they only support SMB1
The only other option is NFS, which will cause even more problems on my setup. So I'm hoping, well clutching at straws, that there's a newer firmware which supports SMB2.
