SmartPSS saves 1 hour off from selected times?

The time on the DVR, smart pss and the cameras is all synced, but whenever I got to clip a period, the time it saves is 1 hour ahead of the time selected, see the link below, starting at 7 makes it save 8, so I have to move the clipping points back one hour to get the right video, which is obnoxious.

Anyone run into this problem? I thought it might have something to do with daylight savings time, but the setting is the same for cameras/dvr

Yes, I have noticed, but it's easy enough to select 1 hour prior to what you are trying to export.

Future update to address this. I originally thought it was daylight savings time.

Got the same problem with mine. It's very annoying if you're gonna take a MD or IVS Clip with some more length. Then you have to go to a different point and have to remember the times you'd like and subtract one hour.

It especially annoying since I usually save several camera feeds over the same period, and I have to do it for each, I don't see a way to manually enter the time either just use the slider.
 
And this assumes you'd only want one hour! What in the HELL??
Is there any other way of saving video???
What an ABSURDLY pathetic error; the only VALUE of an entire surveillance system... is the ability to KEEP, export, and show, events -- irrespective of length.

Problem emerges in April and STILL no resolution? Really?

And who here is able to download multiple cameras at the same time?

If I did download over an hour, it was corrupt. Truly, pathetic.

And since Smart PSS is the interface for ALL nvr by Dahua, even if you spent 3k+ on some absurdly expensive unit, a home built PC unit connected to a NAS would outperform this in the manner that matters most. What a joke.
 
Okay, problem kinda resolved; you have to use Dahua's "Smart Player" (Windows or Mac as appropriate) with the .DAV file extension. You just have to get used to ignoring the real time (as the OP says) and work off of it, an hour back.

This made for some VERY, VERY anxious moments... as my NVR was about to over-write the data in question... as I was racing to figure this out. It was of course, a matter with a piece of S__T customer who called a cop because "Um, these people are like, stealing my laptop." Translation; we wouldn't return her ,previously broken laptop, which we repaired, until she PAID us - returned the loaner, and since she kept the loaner 35 days past completion - upon day 10 - and her telling me she didn't have ANY of the money, and wanted to make $50 a month payments, I warned her, if she wouldn't return my laptop in 24 hours, I was going to charge her for rental - which she said "I didn't agree to pay for a computer..." (LOL!!!!) KEEPS IT ANOTHER 25 DAYS - and thinks SHE... is the victim.

The victim of being charged, (and I s__t you not) - $135 for liquid damage repair of her 15" MacBook Pro logic board, which is surgery - and another $50, to replace her display. Which I only did out of empathy for her... as originally I felt pity for her, as she came in claiming she'd suffered a flood. Only later to find out that "She had to buy all new furniture so I don't have money to pay for the laptop." -- Which of course, is why she's ENTITLED to mine for as long as she needs -- until she makes enough money to pay for it... (irrespective the fact someone came in to purchase the computer she'd been "borrowing" during the first TEN DAYS after we finished repairing it... and pretended that a rental isn't implicitly due upon completion of a repair... AND, that I wouldn't have the right to demand the return of my property at my sole discretion.

So YES, I'm THRILLED that my export worked... in which the cop is on video (and audio) reprimanding her for being rude... and where upon she agrees to remove the NEGATIVE REVIEW on yelp that I received - for the poor service of expecting my property back... and in which every single fact-claim she makes is a contradiction of the discussions we had via email. So yes, I do think she has to get sued.

- NKB 3000

...I'm going to get 1 each of the laser and IR versions of those cameras (placing my order today).

Did you:
- Get the US version or the chinese version?
- How much did you pay for them?
- I [assume] you can use the NKB-x000 anywhere.... with the NVR or via SmartPSS, is that correct?
- Can you use the NKB-3000 as a standalone player? Or should I use a computer with an intel 7700 (Kaby Lake) cpu?

Hi TrumanHW,

I ordered these directly from China, my 4k was 1200 and the NKB 3000 was 850 USD.
The 4k was purchased a year ago and the NKB a couple years ago.

The NKB can be used with the NVR or with any IP camera.
I guess you could connect to it with a PC with PSS, but I don't know why you would..
It is not a recorder so no footage can be saved to it unless saving to a USB.
You can save to a USB from the NKB if it connected to the NVR

It is a network controller that can be connected to a router / modem, camera or NVR via cat 5 or wirelessly.
It will only display HD and not 4k so you would need to connect to the substream.

It is very handy but pretty much overkill for most.
I mostly use it for controlling my mobile vehicle PTZ.

As far as the SD6AE830VN-HNI - It has a very nice picture unless you are all the way zoomed in,
then it is a bit fuzzy / blurry.

I had no need for the AL and it added a lot to the price of the cam.
I would hold off on ordering 2 of them until you tried one out. Plus this is about the time Dahua
releases some new cameras.. ( wink, wink )
