SmartPSS refusing to start win10 - SOLVED

About 6 weeks ago I updated windows to latest release candidate version 21H1. After that I had to authorise SmartPSS at each start, from an admin account. (PIA).

A few times in the last week when I would switch to a running instance of SmartPSS it would glitch out and freeze the machine while displaying a black screen and black with white flashing pixels at top of screen. The only way to recover was to hard restart the machine.

Yesterday I authorised SmartPSS to run but it would not start and nothing was showing in Task Manager.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled versions:
1278542_General_SMARTPSS-Win64_En_IS_V2.003.0000004.0.R.201021
DH_SmartPSS_International_Win32_IS_V2_02_1_R_180619

Is there a different or better version available?

Anyone have any ideas?

Uninstalled SmartPSS, removed all traces from Explorer, registry and Windows Defender Firewall. that didn't resolve it on it's own.

Removed as much of the Intel Management Engine as possible.

DH_SmartPSS_International_Win32_IS_V2_02_1_R_180619 downloaded via the Dahua Toolbox configuration tool, installed and working.

Dahua needs better software repository having to use that toolbox. I don't trust that DahuaWiki dot com.
