SmartPSS failed to get camera properties.

When using SmartPSS it fails to get camera properties for my Dahua PTZ5A4K-25X so I am unable to use Exposure, Backlight, and WB to mention just a few functions. This ONLY occurs with my Dahua PTZ5A4K-25X camera and not with any of my other Dahua cameras.

Have tried deleting the device from Smart PSS & then re-adding.

Don't use SmartPSS for setting up your PTZ5A4K-25X then, log in with a browser( preferably IE) to set them up and only use SmartPSS for viewing.

+1 - you really shouldn't use SmartPSS to make changes to the camera. It should be done in the camera GUI to ensure everything sticks.

No different than doing that with an NVR as well.

Sure it may work this way for some cameras, but changing settings within the camera itself is the best practice.

Switching browsers from Edge to Chrome seemed to be the solution.

Oops, disregard the last comment. Wrong post. Not using SmartPSS definitely solves this problem, sort of.
