Smart Pss record problem

hey there,
recently i've tried a dahua xvr and dahua smart pss.
it seems that smart pss have a problem with the recording.
some how the records stops after 30min or so of recording (local recording on the pc).
if i want to keep recording i have to press click on the record button again after that stops.
which is crazy considering i want it to record 24/7

any one have heard this issue or faced this issue and have some tips and guide to solve this problem?

i've heard DSS PRO/EXPRESS does not have this issue, however i cant find any download links for it.

Have you setup the recording schedule in PCNVR?

Well, can you tell us a bit more about the system you are using? Windows 95 with fat16 filesystem? Windows 7 with Fat32? Windows 10 with NTFS?

Each filesystem has its limits, I'm guessing your file of 30 minutes is rendering into a 4GB file, and your filesystem says: bye!

I never used PCNVR with SmartPSS, but even on Dahua NVR, all 24/7 recordings are "split" into blocks. It makes handling of these files easier (eg backup, but also linking in some kind of database).

Show us the (storage) configuration of SmartPSS, so we can formulate a better advice :)
 
nah, the it does not reach 4 gb.
i tried many configuration , try to record one camera only from the xvr/dvr
but for the record i have 8gb of ram, win 10 ntfs ofc

To record 24/7 in PC-NVR, you need to schedule it in PC-NVR Record Plan. There is no Record button in PC-NVR.
You are probably clicking Record button on SmartPSS Live View screen. That has nothing to do with PC-NVR.

thanks for trying to help, but ur kinda wrong. well not totaly, what u mention is right but before creating a record plan u must select which channel u want to record on, by selecting dvr/camera in the channel management , however in my case i cant even select any channel or dvr. it does not show up under the group even tho the dvr is there (see the 1st pic).

this is because u (i) didnt select which channel/dvr i want to record on.
not because i dont want, but because i cant. (does'nt show the device under the group)

however, on the live view u have an option to record, problem is its only for 30min~

i have multiple dvrs, and no one shows up on the PC-NVR under groups.

back to my question,

perhaps some one have any of them DSS PRO/EXPRESS ? maybe an old version ?
 
still having this problem tho, can anyone help ?
or have a different program that works with their cloud

Same problem here for long time without any solutions. Does anyone know hot to get over this limit?
Win 10 ntfs.
NVR hardware from dahua same result.
