Since moving BI to Windows 10 - One Camera Won't Connect

I recently installed a fresh copy of Windows 10 on my BI computer.. Nothing else changed. Since doing that one of my old Foscam cameras won't connect. It's a C1 with the latest firmware.

In BI I add it, enter the IP and user / pass and click find/inspect and then click OK.

It gives the error "RTSP: 500 Internal Server Error"

I know the camera is old AF but it worked prior to going to W10 with the same version of BI (4.8.6.3).

I've rebooted the camera, reset it to defaults, still gives that error.

Any ideas?

1) Under camera video config, try increasing "Receive Buffer" to 20MB.
2) If no joy (and you haven't done so), in BI try deleting camera completely then re-add.

Thanks for the reply. Tried #1, no luck.. Had already tried #2 but tried it again, no luck.. :(

Why would just one camera that was working with the same version of BI not work now?

dont use find inspect. Select the camera model from the dropdown
 
Foscam likes to use 88 for the HTTP port, not the conventional 80.
Since you have "reset it to defaults", have you made that change in Blue Iris?

If so and still no joy, please post a screenshot of BI's video config page for that cam.

Still no joy.. Reset to factory again for giggles, assigned different ip for giggles.. No luck..

Sorry to hear that.

BTW, those are all LAN (private) IP's so no need to obscure....mine are 192.168.1.1 through 192.168.1.254.... :cool:
 
1) What happens when you open a browser and type in:
and hit <ENTER> ?

2) What specifically is in this red box below ? Please include everything.

reboot the BI PC for a start.

Is this camera wifi or is it hardwired. If it is wifi take it down and connect it hard wired with a premade cable .
 
Tried both hard and Wi-Fi. . Pc has been rebooted a bunch of times as well as the camera.
Oh well. :(

I've rebooted the camera, reset it to defaults.....
1) How are you determining the IP of the camera after resetting it to defaults?
I ask because the user manual says it defaults to DHCP, so that IP can change. You need to make that IP static.

2) Last resort: You could try logging into the cam's webGUI and enabling ONVIF, then in Blue Iris change make to "Generic/ONVIF" and click on "Find/inspect" then "OK".

I hard wire it in after resetting to defaults and it gets an IP from the router which I verify, via the router and then logging in..

#2 did it! Thanks mate!!!
