Since I haven't updated my BI in ages, has an option for SFTP archiving been implemented yet? If not, is there a chance of that feature happening?

nope, and highly unlikely.. dunno why'd the'd support SSH File Transfer from a Windows App.. its not like you have any built in tools to deal with unix shells in Windows.
