Just installed 2 of these cams to a ds7608ni.
I'm having problems accessing the cams to change the settings.
Do I understand correctly that I can't access these through web interface when connected to the nvr?
Have tried plugging them into my network switch but this does not provide Poe.
Is my only option something like the TP-Link TL-POE150S Power Over Ethernet Injector?
As can no longer access the power leads on cameras without a lot of work to get to them
Thx

There are several ways to do this - and quite a few posts on the topic, though not that easy to find with the search facilities.

The first and easiest - if the firmware on your NVR supports it:
Enable 'Virtual Host' which I believe is under 'Network | Advanced Settings' and get a column of links to the camera's web GUI in Camera Management.
If you have a laptop, set it's IP address to, say, 192.168.254.100 and connect an Ethernet cable to a spare PoE port to access the cameras at the IP addresses shown in the NVR camera management, or that shown by SADP. Thta's assuming the NVR PoE interface address is still at the default of 192.168.254.1
There is also a way to enable routing between the NVR interfaces so access from the LAN is possible, but we'll leave that just now.
