Serial Number

Is there anyway to pull the serial number from a HIKVISION camera through the NVR/DVR? Or any way in general besides looking at the camera?

Have you tried logging into the camera Web UI with IE11 or Chrome browser and navigating to Configuration > System > Device Information Serial Number?

or the Hikvision SADP tool can find it and display serial number (and other stuff) even if it's not configured for your LAN...
