SD49225XA-HNR Winter performance?

How are PTZ's in winter? When it snows and freezes and covers the camera, do they continue working OK?
I've seen some higher end ones with defrosters and heaters and stuff, but what about the low-end ones like Andy's SD49225XA-HNR?

Nice. Doesn't seem to be affected by the cold. Do you ever need to remove snow buildup on it?

On mine i don't and its exposed with no over hang above it.

It has a defog function that can be selected.
I had my ptz (Hikvision knockoff) exposed for one season in the front of the Condo, now it's out back under a porch overhang. 2 years and still going in Minnesota. We can go below 0F for 72 hours at a crack.
