Also parapet mount may be an option in one location on house, just need some ideas.

No one has come up with a way to mount this as flush as possible to the ceiling

When mine will arrive, I will try to mount it in the roof eave(no soffit), as close as possible. Most likely, I will make a custom mount. I won't be using the original mount. Maybe the threaded adapter only.
I have 4" to work with, and I want to use up that space as much as possible. I don't like the camera, to stick out too much. I'm thinking that I will use an aluminum strip(3" wide, maybe a 1/8-1/4" thick and the length will be determined later), that will be bolted in an angle (roof angle), and that threaded piece mounted to that strip. The wire, as it comes out from that fitting, will go against the roof.

I have thought about something similar as where I want to place mine looks about the same as yours, gutter and all.

Used a 1.5 inch pipe floor flange to get it up as high as I could.

That is a nice and simple install. You are lucky to have horizontal surface, to install that camera.

I just painted it that color because thats all i had.
About to paint house so the flange will be painted the color of the house.

do you have pics from like sidewalk or front of house to show how discreet this is?
i have similar house layout and been trying to come up with something.
i think i saw in another thread the actual mount(can you link or post pics?)...did you make this your self?
if so how much would you charge to make and ship?

Review-I'll be the guinea pig for the new SD59225U-HNI PTZ.
It is visible. Neighbors: "wow, that is a big camera".
But it is more bearable with this setup.
Unfortunately, I don't have my own shop, so I did it at my workplace, it takes quite some time to make it and I won't be able to make other one.
Sorry about that.
Maybe, you can build something from some 2x4 to make a horizontal surface and instal it as Baldcamman.
