Running cable to attic

I want to run multiple cables to my attic and other rooms from the basement where all my other cables are. Is it OK to run 1 cable to a patch panel, switch on the 1st or 2nd floor and then go to attic and other rooms? Thanks

Sure why not. If no powered device inline make sure totally distance does not exceed 100 meters.
