yes...blue iris options>startup select minimize to tray..

You may also choose to run Blue Iris as a Windows Service. When you run as a Windows Service the BI client app is hidden and (I believe) that Blue Iris uses less CPU cycles). I (think) you will find the "run BI as a service option" in blue iris options > startup.
