rtsp stream

whats the correct rtsp stream for a hdw4431c-a?
i am trying to load rtsp://adminass@192.168.1.108:554/cam/realmonitor?channel=1&subtype=0?tcp
into vlc, but the login window keeps popping up.

I am using the same l/p to login to the hdw4431c-a

If you can live with typing in the credentials, I've had luck with just "rtsp://192.168.1.108".

I'm not sure how to include the credentials in the URL since they've switched the authentication method.

i am using that url. But somehow now its working on the substreams.
I think vlc cannot handle the H265? If i cange to main s tream to H264 its working

With h.265 set on the main stream (on my 5231), VLC is able to handle that. The first second or two looks goofy, but then it looks normal.

I've never tried VLC on any sub-streams though.

With h264 it works fine, with h265 i get no image
