RTPS url for IPC-HDW5831R-ZE ?

I recently purchased this camera, IPC-HDW5831R-ZE

It has firmware V2.800.0000005.0.R, Build Date: 2019-03-25

What is the RTPS stream URL for it?

I was guessing some of the values for it here, but I'm not finding it.

Try:

rtsp://username:password@camera-IP:554/cam/realmonitor?channel=1&subtype=1

You can also use ONVIF Device Manager to find it.

FWIW, it's "RTSP", not "RTPS". It stands for "Real Time Streaming Protocol."

thank you! that worked! yes. my bad.. typing too quickly without looking close and the letters, RTSP.

This, is it substream 1 ... ? what would the main stream be for recording? These different streams, I dont understand very well. and related to the streams for video.. would you know the URL for Control?

Sorry, I gave URL for substream.
"subtype=1" is for substream, 0 is for main stream, both are set up and/or disabled in camera configuration under "setup", "video".
Generally, in default mode the main stream is the highest resolution, substream is lower.

I don't have a list of HTTP API's for Dahua specifically, below is a PDF for some Amcrest cam commands which may be shared. Perhaps someone will furnish a recent Dahua list.
