I picked up a couple cameras awhile back, fiddled with them a bit, unsuccessfully, and forgot about them.
Today, I was doing a bit of "cleaning", organizing, etc, and came across them again.

And I remembered the wealth of knowledge that exists in this forum, that I've recently discovered as well..
Any help, info, insight, etc is much appreciated, as always. :)

Rhombus Systems. (Sercomm)
Full HD PoE IP Camera
Model OC452
Input PoE DC 48V 200mA(IEEE 802.3af)

Thanks.

I've been using the Sercomm RC4551 and the OC432 as bluebird box cameras streaming to Blue Iris for 4 years now.

The only URL I can find listed for the OC452 is a snapshot URL but because it's the same URL used by the 2 cameras I just mentioned, you might try the RTSP URL that I use with VLC and see if it works with the 452.

But first, a question: can you power up the camera via POE and open a browser to its IP address? I'm hoping it has an embedded webGUI like the 4551 and 432.

Thanks for the reply, Tony. I don't know what a "snapshot URL" is exactly? I would love it, if they had an embedded webGUI, that would give me something to work with. However, I've not been able to determine an IP for the devices, I've tried pushing in the rubber reset button on the back, but I'm unsure of the proper timing, and such. I have pressed the reset, and plugged in the POE power to the camera which seemed to produce a "recovery" type mode, similar to a Ubiquiti UAP AC wireless access point..lol..I've been working on a few of those lately, and thats what it reminded me of. Thanks again, perhaps between the two of us, I can get these things up and running. :)

A snapshot URL would be something like this below issued from a browser or other software that would return an image of what the camera "sees" at that moment:

If capable, similar URL's exist to stream video to a player such as VLC or to a VMS such as Blue Iris. It depends on the camera. Embedded webGUI's are accessed using a HTTP URL which is generally the camera's IP, like . If the HTTP port is the default of 80, it can be omitted at the end of the URL. If it is NOT 80, such as many Foscam IP cameras that use 88 as the HTTP port, the webGUI would be accessed using
Once you get the correct IP in the browser and attempt to access it, the camera should ask for a username and password or have you create those like the Ubiquiti radios.

If connected to your router and if the camera is defaulted to DHCP, after it has been reset it should get an IP from your router which may show up in the router's list of connections or by using a sniffer such as Fing.
