Reset camera vs Restart camera vs Reboot camera

I am having connections issues on a PtP ubiquiti wireless connection. When the remote cameras lose contact for a minute and the connection comes back, one or two random cameras dont reset their connection with Blue Iris and I am seeing no video or only one stream connected with a yellow triangle error sign in the upper right corner of BI frame. This will persist until I manually restart or reboot the camera.

If I select "restart camera" from either UI3 or the console, video reengages quickly. Rebooting the camera also works but is much slower.

In the BI manual under HTTP commands there are these commands:

/admin?camera=x&reboot Reboot camera x (short name) (as supported)
/admin?camera=x&reset Reset camera x (short name)

So I'm wondering if reset is the same as restart or does it reset all the camera settings to default.... Im afraid to try it.

I'd like to use http command to restart the camera to reestablish connection rather than reboot.
