I've had 8 of these for 6 years (Jul 2019) and worked perfectly for my use case. However in the last 4 months 3 of them have died with similar symptoms: Frequent reboots, long boot times (3-5 minutes) and finally no image with a high pitch noise coming from the camera. I haven't looked too much into the cause as they were all in different locations with different exposure to the elements (Street facing with full afternoon sun, side of house under eave and garage). If I plug the any of the 3 cameras into a test POW switch in my office it will work OK for a day or so and then will do the same thing again.
It has been 6 years since I last looked at cameras and boy am I confused with all the new options. And since the cameras all died within a few months of each other I am wondering if I should bite the bullet and replace the whole lot so I don't have to worry about it for another 5 years (hopefully more).
Any recommendations?
