2332 is still available, it's not been replaced (don't listen to those sellers who say otherwise).

I'm in the same situation as geek7899.
I'm also looking for the 2332 and it's somewhat harder now on Aliexpress, but not impossible.
I've seen some 2332's with firmware 5.2.0, 5.2.5, 5.3.0 and even 5.3.3. Which one is recommended? Just the latest?
I've also seen 2335 with firmware 5.3.3 (if i'm correct this is just the same as 2332 but with support for H265).
You personally recommend 3332 or 2345 / 3345. Can you explain the added advantages (I don't have a NVR yet)?
I'm very confused now (as i'm brand-new to the Hikvision world).

Where are you? US? Then hook up milkisbad and get some US supported stuff for barely any extra.
If you don't have an NVR then stick to 2332 and 3332. The reason is 2335 isn't the same as 2332 but with H.265 and isn't the 2332 replacement. This is a lie by the Chinese (and English eBay) sellers. 2335 has serious compatibility issues with different NVRs.
If you know what you are doing then 2345 / 3345 is an option but be careful for now.
Unfortunately I'm not in the US. I already contacted milkisbad, but he doesn't do international shipping.

According to my research the 2345/3345 is basically an improved 2332/3334 with 4mp and h265. But you're probably not fully recommending them because of compatibility issues with standard NVR's. Am i right?

2345/3345 are Chinese-market only versions. They are actually 3.6MP not 4MP and the H.265 won't work with the NVR - and probably won't in the future. So I wouldn't say they are "improved". The image difference between these and 2332 will be minimal.
I'm not sure what your budget is or how many cameras but you can't go wrong with DS-7604NI-E1/4P as an NVR and DS-2CD2342FWD-I 4MP WDR Cameras if you have the extra money.

Unfortunately I am on a tight budget ($120 inc shipping per camera is as far as I can go for now as I need 4 of them outdoor).
That's why the 2332/3334 seems about right for me.
But which one to get (going back to the original topic): 2332 or 3332?

DS-2CD3332 is USA version, the ones I received have UL stickers on them, came with red & white box, English. Otherwise, same as my DS-2CD2232 (brown box, chinese, no UL sticker).
Mechanics & electronics for both are identical.
I run 5.2.0 on all my cameras and have no desire to upgrade or downgrade.

2345 is plastic base vs 2332 or 3332 metal. and the housing can't security the camera in place like other 2. 2345 is 50Hz ONLY. if you use it indoor with LED light. you got problem. USA is 60Hz. sorry for the bad English.
