im trying to figure out how to remotely view recordings on iOS. I have iDMSS set up and working for live viewing of the nvr. I cannot figure out how to playback recordings. Is done in iDMSS?

Yes its done within iDMSS
CLick the hamburger menu top left and you will see "Playback". Click that
Next clik the little camera icon top right, that will open the Playback menu where you choose the camera, type of recording, and time

Got this to work. It is clunky from 5k miles away. Hopefully it will be better with less latency.
Is there a way to filter for type of recording - IVS?
I think this is good enough for my needs.

You should see and be able to playback by "Regular, Alarm, or Motion" recordings. Dont see IVS as an option..
Yes, have these. IVS is what I use. Maybe I can trigger alarms with IVS and get it to work that way.
