Hello,

what does this number mean?

I have enough storage on C, D and E drive. I am using BI only for watching the camera feeds because it has PTZ. I only record using manual record with BI.

How can I get rid of this red text? It just appeared today?
I do not have any clips stored, I already deleted the db folder and restarted.

Help?

The clip bar shows a zero next to it, empty list as I do not use BI for recording, only manual

Even if you manually record BI clips and storage still need to setup correctly. As pointed out above, red means over allocation. If you’ve deleted the db then you might have to rebuild the database before clips and storage starts to make sense.

and where can I change that allocation?
I have 30 gb on C drive free, where BI is installed

currently the number shows -188.4M

Interesting.

In Clips and archiving I find a setting "Limit folder size" which was 10 GB, free space on C drive 30GB.
Red text told me -200MB. I set this to 15GB, red text told me -5.x GB.
I set this to 5 GB, red text is gone.

But why?
Free space on C drive was 30GB.
With the red text gone BI shows me "Clips: 0 files, 0K/26.0G"

You need to look at all your folders. You will see that the stored folder is set to 20gb by default.
