Is there such a thing as a recovery file to fix a dead f18910 Didn't take firmware to well. been sitting in a box in the basement

The fact that someone 37 people read the question does not indicate that anyone knows the answer. Most folks here long gave up on foscam and consider it a blessing when they die. You should be able to recover it. Try the foscam forum - someone there should be able to help you.

They are no help either I posted there some time ago
 
Try their tech support number... There are lots of posts on this subject on their forum too.
