I have a feral cat that lives in my yard that I feed and water. Every night I have to put the food and water away as these clowns come by and run amok.

At least you don't have porcupines, they don't have any natural predator in my area.
Cats flee when they see a porcupine. Sometimes they come in a group of 2 or more.
