Could anyone give me any tips on quickly playing the last 30 seconds of a camera recording?

Example: something is spotted outside, i then go to the camera, select it, find the latest recording clip (continous) slide to the end of the timeline carefully not reaching the end, then play.

Is there an easier way like rewind live on a TV Pvr?

There is none that I am aware of. Perhaps you could ask the Blue Iris developer for new functions to go in Blue Iris Settings > Keyboard shortcuts for starting/ending timeline playback and seeking left and right in it.

This feature is about the only thing I miss from Dahua's SmartPSS. Not enough to have written an email to Blue Iris yet though...
