I have been browsing around and searching the best I can. I just wondered if it was possible to change the language from chinese to english on this model on the hdmi output side of things. The web gui is both chinese and english yet the local display is 100% chinese.
second question would be owners of hikvision cams do you have a favorite model? I purchased 4 Escam qd900's which I found out later on here are not compatible on the onvif side of things as motion detection does not play well with this nvr. So I am looking to snag a couple of hikvision cams so I know the protocol will be supported. I have been looking at the DS-2CD2232-I5 model. Any thoughts on what hardware I should look for if I am wanting to spend 75-100 bucks a pop.
